Youth Group

Activities include Bible studies and discussions, games and occasional outings. Friday nights, 6:30 – 8:00pm – at St. Matthew’s. (During school term.) Youth Group is for young people in years 7 – 12.

Home groups

Several of these are held during the week. We usually look at a section of the Bible to see what it has to say to us today. Many people find these groups helpful. As well, they are a good opportunity to get to know others better. A Ladies’ Bible Study is held on Thursday mornings. Call us for details. New members are always welcome at any of our groups.

Open Door – relaxed craft group – bring your own craft

Meets every second Wednesday morning during School term from 9:30am – 11:00am. Bring your own craft – whether it be sewing, knitting – or play a board game. Please call us (9682 7613) to check which fortnight Open Door is held. All welcome!

Playgroup – for mothers and pre-school children

Meets on Tuesday mornings during School term 10:00am – Noon. At St. Matthew's. Please call us on 9682 7613 to check if there are vacancies.

FOCUS for Women

Meets monthly on Thursday nights. A variety of speakers and activities are organised especially for women. Visitors are always welcome!

Baptisms and Weddings

Call us for details – or come along on a Sunday morning and say hi over morning tea. We can then arrange a time to get together and talk about what’s involved. We’d be glad to help if we are able!

Protection of children

At St. Matthew’s we believe that it is vital to protect the vulnerable – especially children. All those who work with children have completed the NSW Government’s ‘Working with Children Check’. As well, our Sunday School teachers, Scripture teachers and others have had additional training on child protection.
