We are a local church, in the West of Sydney, that’s committed to hearing and sharing the great news about Jesus. We are ordinary people who have been changed – and are being changed – by God’s message to the world about Jesus.
Our logo was inspired by the Holroyd City logo – and our motto is “Building People Around Christ”.
Since 1892, St. Matthew’s has been serving the local community of Greystanes and Merrylands West. (We were actually the first Christian church in the area. The old St. Matthew’s building was in Arcadia Street, Merrylands West – opposite the old Council chambers – until it moved across Merrylands Road to Ridge Street in 1972.
