Has the church been lying for 2000 years? Did Mary have Jesus’ child? Has this secret been guarded for centuries? Is all this news to Jesus?

Da Vinci Flyer

These are just some of the many questions that will arise as The Da Vinci Code movie opens in theatres May 18. It is a film that, like the Dan Brown novel on which it is based, is guaranteed to raise many questions about God, the church and Jesus.

In May and June at St. Matthew's, we'll be looking at some of the questions raised by The Da Vinci Code – and we'll be asking, "If the Jesus we meet in the Bible is the real Jesus, what then?" And on Thursday June 22nd, we're having a "Convinced by Da Vinci?" evening from 7:30pm. Everyone is welcome. Click on the image to download a flyer (350kb PDF file).
